May I suggest to the writer that she begin with the American Academy of
Pediatrics position statement on breastfeeding and then list ways to
implement those principles with the rationale for your thinking?
Doctors seem  most likely to listen to their own kind.  Many don't want
to ignore AAP principles, but they may not have clear ideas on how to
implement them in their practice, especially if they have never been
BF-friendly.
