And did the owner of the web site indicate whether she was concerned
about her credibility in posting information she was unsure about? I
think for me this example underscores KNOWING the credentials of the web
site owner. (For those just joining, there is a web site which said
fenugreek had coumadin and nicotine and is contraindicated in
breastfeeding mothers. Sorry, I don't have the web address in front of
me; it should be in the Archives.)
By the way, I DID write a letter (also on the topic of "credentials" to
the Oprah Winfrey web site (re her guru dr's advice on "parenting". I
hope everyone does the same!)
