Well, Dr. Wight,
I know NICU is Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
I assume IRB must be Internal Review Board
I cannot figure out CQI though.....

I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but it you plan to keep data and use it
for a paper or for any reporting purpose other than an established CQI
program, you will need to get consent from the mother and IRB approval in
EACH site you intend to do this. ( In order to allow us to call our NICU
graduates to assess breastfeeding rates post-discharge, I had to go through
the hospital IRB process and have every Mom sign a 3 page consent form.)
