Hi all,
Here's one that's stumped all 3 of us at my local hospital.
Mom with twins born March 1 has been pumping (no baby to breast--don't ask!)
about 6 ounces several times/day. Has had recurring plugged ducts &
mastitis, also has been treated with Diflucan and antibiotics in March.
Don't know how things have been going in April or May, but she called today
reporting that 4 of the 6 ounces she pumped this morning have congealed into
a solid mass. She says in order to feed this to her babies she would "have
to blend it in a blender".
She's on no meds right now, no mastitis or plugged ducts at present.
Any ideas what's going on with her milk???
TIA!
