I need to clarify that our moms do pump into volufeeds then put the milk in
the biohazard bags which I have screamed we don't need to do. I have only
been working there a year and no one seems to know where the policy came from
except that breastmilk is a body fluid. This is only one incident of the
things nurses do at my hospital.... you don't even want to hear about how
much formula is being given to babies at night.
Thanks for all the input. I have talked with someone at OSHA and have my
"proof."
