What's the word on taking RU-486 during breastfeeding? I've checked the
archives, and there was no really clear discussion. The mother in question
has a 7 month old.
As I understand it, the mother, who is 5 weeks pregnant, would undergo a
two-part process. Part 1 is 200 mg orally of mifipristone. Part two is 800
mg vaginally of misoprostal.
Misoprostal is covered in Hale (20-40 min half-life if taken orally, no
problems noted, L3 on theoretical grounds); mifipristone is not.
