Hi, this is my first post to Lactnet. I am really enjoying reading all of
your posts, and that so many parts of the world are represented!
In response to the question of the Nurture III pump, a friend used it for
back-to-work twice a day pumping for 6 months and found it worked
wonderfully (and used it occasionally for another year). She enjoyed the
small size and didn't find releasing the suction was a problem. She did
have to replace the back-up valves once, which she ordered by mail and
received quickly. Another LC told me this pump works fine for many mothers
after 6 weeks postpartum when the milk supply is established. The Nurture
III is a less expensive, double pumping alternative. There are only two
mail-order distributors in Canada.
