I just wanted to let you all know that I just received today Dr. Hakes
Medications and mothers' Milk 2002 . the tenth edition.

If you do not have his book, I consider it a necessity to my practice and at
the price of 24.95 , it is such a bargain. I cant tell you how many times I
have copied info from the book, gave it to a mom , and the mom was then
allowed to receive a certain drug because of this info!

Just yesterday I copied info on several drugs that were AAP approved for a
young mom that needs to have wisdom teeth removed, they are really bothering
her, the dentist said he would not do surgery wile she is breastfeeding, the
girl is only 16 and has been nursing for 5.5 months... luckily the girls mom
called me and I gave her the correct info! Now she can breastfed and have
her teeth out!
