Hi Kim,
I actually addressed this with LACTNET a few weeks ago and didn't hear
anything back.
Our lactation dept. did object to this protocol and the only compromise we
could achieve at this time is: breastfed babies are not to use pacifiers but
will receive the sweat ease via a syringe.  They also give Tylenol pre and
post circumsion.
I would like to see what other hospitals are doing.
