I don't believe you can get a virus from opening an e-mail, but you sure as
heck can from opening an attachment. I've gotten several dozen recently that
look quite innocuous -- all have different titles on them, but most of them
have no info in the body of the e-mail (blank), and everyone I've received is
a "zip" attachment.
Then I got two e-mails with a "zip" attachment and a "letter" that purported
to "protect" the computer against this virulent virus. Didn't download
either of those either.
I'll echo Linda -- be VERY careful.
