Earlier this week I overheard one nurse referring to a flyer about the
"new" formulae with the added fatty acids.  She commented "Oh, that's
the formula with that breastmilk stuff added."  I quickly pointed out
that while it was an attempt to imitate some ingredients in breastmilk,
it actually was not a breastmilk product, but from genetically
engineered seaweed (hope that was correct).  They were genually
surprised.  The formula sales folks really did a god job on them!  Just
make it sound like breastmilk and everyone will jump on the bandwagon.
Ignore all the other factors in breastmilk that can't be duplicated and
folks will believe there isn't any difference any more.  ARRGGHH again.
