All this talk about things added to formula brings to mind a tin of Lacta
dated 1946 that I have in my study. It is described as the perfect nursery
milk food and the next best thing to breastmilk. It was just dried full
cream cow's milk with added vitamin D! What will they be saying in another
fifty-five years about today's wonder formulas? Well we know don't we?
