Years ago when Parlodel was commonly given to mothers to dry up their milk
we often found mothers who changed their minds, nursed frequently and
overcame the drug, producing a full or nearly full supply.
Of concern, however, was a study indicating that mothers who had been given
Parlodel tended to be less attentive to their babies. Perhaps knowing this
might help a mother to pay special attention to overcoming this tendency.
