Perhaps this mother has never seen milk separate. Hers may separate
quickly and she thinks the "cream" is curdled.

Subject: curdled breastmilk

Hi all, I received a call about a mother who is pumping milk for an
older baby for an occasional bottle. She is concerned about the
appearance of her milk. It is described as "curdled". There is no odor
and this is before refrigeration or freezing. As it was described to me
it was fresh out of the breast. Any thoughts??? I thought maybe it was
due to a high fat content as this baby is gaining weight very well.
Thanks for any input anyone might have.
