Is the mom in this case interested in "relactating" and do you think that is why she came to you? If she is reaching out in hopes of re-establishing bf, then she certainly can - with the correct information re oversupply, diet, (and maybe, somewhere down the line, a new pediatrician). If, on the other hand, she has accepted the weaning and shows no interest when you talk re "relactating", then she probably needs you to listen. Poor Mom!
