Dear Leigh:
My article, "Helping Mothers Create Breastfeeding Allies," might be of
interest to you and/or your friend. Cultural change can be hard and slow,
but it is possible--and principles of negotiation and persuasion can be
useful when working toward such change. This article isn't yet indexed on
the website of La Leche League International. As soon as it is (probably
within a month or two), I will add a link to it from the publications page
of my website, Ammawell, at http://home.attbi.com/~ammawell. In the
meantime, do you subscribe to LEAVEN? Or do you have an LLL Leader near you
that can lend you the issue the article is in? The full reference
information is:
Good Mojab, C. Helping mothers create breastfeeding allies. LEAVEN. Vol. 37
No. 6, December 2001-January 2002, pp. 123-127.
Best wishes,
Cynthia

little one.)
