I just finished writing a review of several studies and other reviews on the
breastfeeding - breast cancer link. I included 21 studies and/or reviews of
which 18 found a positive association between breastfeeding and prevention of
breast cancer. There were studies that backed both pre and post menopausal
prevention of cancer. Most of these were recent - within the last 1 to 5
years. I found my sources through Medline and PubMed. Barbara already
listed several of them in her post. I had written this piece to draw
attention to the fact that the public awareness campaigns of organizations
such as the American Cancer Society do not include information of the postive
effects of breastfeeding in relation to lowering disease risk; an issue I
find irritating.

Good Luck with your classmates; I am sure you will find a way to say what you
need to.
