I've never heard of this happening to any of my moms that have transported
breastmilk -- of course, I'm not sure how many of them have been doing major
traveling since 9/11 anyway, when security has been beefed up.
I will say that on one of my flights (pre 9/11), I took an open can of Diet
Coke through the checkpoint, and they did ask me to drink some of it in front
of them -- was satisfied that it was OK, and let me continue on my way.
Very interesting, however! But since cocaine is stuffed into infant diapers,
I'm sure they can make a case that it isn't breastmilk but a lethal liquid
something or other....
