This kind of creative positioning is also useful with twins. In that
case, as well, a mother sometimes needs two hands to latch each baby,
and the natural arm rest isn`t suitable.
Another way of propping an older baby is to lie in bed, semi-reclined,
with knees up high (a pillow under them is comfortable); a baby or two
can be laid towards the breast, and moved in closer by bringing the
knees in, while the hands occupy themselves latching. (It`s clear in my
head; I don`t know about here.)
