At the Breastfeeding Task force I was informed by some members of a
hospital staff that they no longer can recommend Reglan to relactating
patients because of risk of "heart problems". They were unclear about it,
and had no references.
I know I have heard of depression as being a risk, and my experience has
been one where this has happened once...however, I've had great success
with it (long before I heard of domperidone), especially with moms who
needed to pump long term.
Can someone clarify whether there is new information on this drug?
...waiting for the new edition of the Hale book!
