Dear Roni,
I thought of the perfect wall hanging for your OB's office-the new WABA
poster. I am so impressed with the info on birthing practices and their
effects on breastfeeding. It would certainly be cheaper than framing a photo
and has so much info on it as well.
I share your frustration-the birth center where I teach, refuses to not hand
out the formula bags (oh, we give out the ones for bf mothers, and no one
pays attention to the stuff inside; despite my arguments to the contrary.
arrgghh. So, I hand out the coupons in class and discuss the evils of
advertising and point out that the bags themselves supply formula
endorsement-parents are either shocked or blase about it, so bombarded with
advertising already.) I plan to continue to try to chip away at the
resistence I encounter there, though.
