Hello Lactnetters.  I am a hospital based IBCLC in the U.S. We opened our 12 bed LDRP unit 5 years ago and have been cupfeeding our normal healthy tull term babies since that time. Last summer we opened a NICU.  I am trying to institute cupfeeding for preemies. As you can imagine, I am meeting resistance. I have been invited to discuss the issue with a group of neonatologists. I would like to go prepared with as much info as possible. I believe I have the most current studies, but am interested in finding out which other hospitals (particularly in the U.S.) are cupfeeding premature infants. Please E-mail me privately.
