I've never heard the warm water trick, I may try it on my next UTI. However,
having experienced a great many UTI's, for some Pyridium or other analgesics are
not just for comfort. I'm trying to find a comparison, and I guess that would
be like saying taking pain meds for a migraine is simply for comfort. Or a mom
with a c-section should simply wait it out, she'll feel better in a few days,
and not take prescribed medication. UTI's can be serious and painful and
waiting those hours until antibiotics kick in can be horrible.
