hi i have a little different view on waking a sleeping baby to feed. i tell
the moms(especially those prone to plugged ducts) that if you are feeling
full, or wake up and feel the need to feed, gently see if the baby is
willing to nurse, all i had to do was whisper "ninny" in my sons direction
and they would start rooting. i think it helps the mom tune into her own
instincts, instead of listening to all those late indicators allot of people
wait for.
