Just my 2 cents, I am short,  just 5-1 1/2 - thought I had to have a rocking
chair to "nurse" 17 years ago. I hated it as it was too deep and my feet
didn't touch the floor,  nursing stools were not invented yet. And so, even
though one was purchased by "grandma" as a baby gift , it went on to become
one of my hubby's favorite chairs, while I preferred sitting indian style on
my sofa.
