Anne, I expect that it is Armidale District Hospital that you are talking
about. A friend had a baby there not too long ago and I had another friend
do some training there. By all accounts it is a good hospital to have a baby
in (the thought of the spa is something that I find attractive) and the
motel still is in existance. One factor which others might find interesting
is that they (at least a few years ago) did not have an anaesthesiologist
available for epidurals so none were used.  Don't know how breastfeeing is
managed there but if the births are good and the babies are with the mums
they certainly would stand a better chance :-)
