I have been seeing the mother of a 8 1/2 week old baby; the mother has been
dealing with recurrent blocked ducts. I suggested she start on Lecithin, and
she has noticed a significant difference. She mentioned to me that the baby
seems less satiated - that is, he sleeps less between feeds, and bms are
grainier (still yellow).
I was concerned that the lecithin was affecting the baby's fat ingestion
somehow.
She told me she has been using compression ever since I showed it to her in
the early weeks, (I asked now b/c I thought increased hindmilk consumption
would help) and I'm not sure what else to suggest.
Has anyone else encountered something similar, am I missing something, and
can anyone explain this to me?
Thanks!
