Perhaps I'm being overly simplistic. But any agent that has to be given
intravenously because it can't be absorbed through the stomach (destroyed by
stomach acids etc) to my mind can't be absorbed by the BABY because their
stomach acids will do the same thing to whatever percentage of the drug is
transferred to breastmilk.
Am I being to nieve?
