Denise: the very best resource I'm using at present is Enabling Women
to Breasfeed which you should be able to get online via the big
online bookstores. By Renfrew, Woolridge et al, and published by the
Statioery Office,  it looks at studies in most if not all the
categories you mention, and draws concusions for practice. You can
then get hold of the studies outlined, if your colleague still need
them.
