Last time a cat of mine had kittens they weaned at about 10-12 weeks. Iīm not
really sure, It was a natural weaning, the kittens just drank less and less
and mom didnīt always allow them as they grew.
Infact (to link it to the other thread on shared breastfeeding), it was a
double nest: 2 sister cats deliverd with some days inbetween, one had 4 and
the other 1 kitten. After a week or so, when the kittens started coming out
of the nests both moms nursed all kittens, the one with only 1 of her own
being the better mom!
