Aa-haa! Exactly! This is one of the downfalls of bottle feeding. To do it
right (the best way for the baby), you cannot cuddle and hold close.
Breastfeeding, on the other hand, promotes closeness between mom and baby.
Another thought I had about this bottle feeding method relates to how
quickly even Lactnet members wanted to incorporate it into their practices
and classes. If we, the BF supporters of the world are so quick to want a
"good" method of bottle feeding, is it any wonder that some parents want
this too and are not willing to try other methods of supplementing (cup
feeding, SNS, finger-feeding).
