My favorite dj on http://www.kgnu.org/ has a 6 week
old baby girl. KGNU is not an ordinary radio station;
it is one of the many things that make Boulder truly
special and wonderful. I talk with "99" often on
Friday afternoons and had a chat with her today when
her husband said "uh oh, someone needs to put a cork
in the baby" and I called to tell her that "11" is too
young for artifical nipples. The mom agreed. Phew.
And dad wasnt' talking about a pacifier. :-) The
baby is on the air with them.
To celebrate the baby, we want to find some music
celebrating breastfeeding and/or breastmilk. She and
her partner play a lot of very interesting and unusual
music so it could be *anything*. Give a listen
sometime on Colorado's Friday afternoon when Barry and
99 are on but mail me any suggestions. (yes, they do
have real names too.) or you could mail the studio
when they're there.
