Many times I see these babies who appear to be latched okay--lips may be
flanged, baby appears to have a deep latch, but when you watch a feeding, the
baby's suckle in shallow and ineffective. This is so common with a vacuum
insult to the baby. Again, when Sharon Vallone is back, she can explain much
better than me, but ultimately, these babies do not suckle effectively
without adjustment. Ineffective suckle is certainly enough to cause a low
milk supply. I would urge chiropractic/CST type care. The results are truly
remarkable.
