good-looking latch, a working definition:
"The baby is alive, and the mother is alive, and the baby's head is attached
in some way to the mother's upper body."
This is what I conclude the phrase means to far too many of the people I
have worked with over the years. I don't go as crazy any more over it, but
I have started to use Righard and Alade's checklist for assessing a meal at
the breast, as a way of illustrating the many, many components of good
latch. Going through the entire form with a room full of maternity ward
staff is quite illuminating.

Kristiansand, Norway, where it is at least 10 degrees C (about 50 F for the
metrically challenged) and I have a couple of flowers blooming in my yard
and if the snow doesn't come soon I may have to mow the LAWN... the
sub-arctic winter ain't all it's cracked up to be!
