Hi,
I have recently gotten a question about thrush treatment by a lady who is bf
9 mo twins & lives in France. The babies were treated 2 months ago
with"Daktarin 2%" (miconazole), Three times a day. The doc refused to treat
the mother. They babies now have thrush again and she is wondering if she
should take the same medication or if there is a different one. Not being
familiar with the French culture or the meds they use I am not sure if I can
advise her to ask the doc about Diflucan or Nystantin. Any help would be
appreciated greatly!
Warmly,
Jessica Wheelock B Sc, CLC, IBCLC Candidate (GULP, Oct 12 is getting
closer....)
