I think it's time that we remind our clients what we tell our children from
time to time.... it's only tv, and DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SEE ON
TV!!!"
Relating a dialog I recently had with my 4 yo son... "Mommy Ellie needs a
Barbie for Christmas" me: "Why's that Harry??" Harry: "Because girls like
Barbies Mom!" Me: "TURN OFF THE TV HARRY!!!" We watch very little tv, but
if my 4yo can fall prey to it, all of us can... we need to remind our
clients that ER is just a tv show, and just as I wouldn't take operating
lessons from Noah Whiley (cute ER doc on the show), I wouldn't expect that
moms would take breastfeeding advice from Dr. Corday!! More over.... just
turn the darn thing off! :o)
