I am told that the Amer Acad of Peds has issued a statement or policy saying
that it is no longer necessary to boil the water or sterilize bottles, etc,
in the US and other industrialized countries. Hot soapy water &/or
dishwasher is enough. If this is true, can someone point me to the
reference?

Also, can someone fill me in on the ingredients in dishwasher detgt (alleged
ground glass?) that wears out, softens, destroys silicone nipples?

Just trying to get my facts straight. Thanks.
