I have had thrush several times in the last few years in my mouth after
dental work with abx and trauma to the mouth. Systemic antifungals work
well,
like tea tree oil or calendula for the skin around the mouth.  Also there
are
topical gels that are used for vaginal yeast that may be OK. I swear by pau
d'arco as a dietary supplement. Haven't had thrush since I started taking it
2 caps 2 times a day. I have also used Myclex troches (like a giant TUMS) in
the mouth 8-10 times a day. When I've got it, even drinking water hurts. NOT
a good way to diet.
