I join Deborah & others in considering
humanmilkfeeding. I like the one word suggested by
Deborah, more like arms around the babe. Given that
some offer milk from friends and banks and others only
mother’s own I’m inclined to use both
humanmilkfeeding, for the community practice, and
mothersmilkfeeding to stress what only mother can do,
and is doing.
Magda, Heather and many others write of the need to
have and use consistent international definitions.
Without such consistency our exercise here proves that
we find ourselves divided rather than diverse. Kathy
D., will you be weighing in?
