I read the article in American Baby regarding toxins in mothers milk
while sitting in a waiting room (checking out what new moms may be
reading). I did not find it to be making the statement that formula was
safer. (hopefully I'm not thinking of a different magazine.) If I recall
correctly, the author who is breastfeeding actually stated that in spite
of these toxins, mothers milk is still far superior than formula,
however, we should all see the great need to work towards cleaning up
our environment. And now that I think of it, breastfeeding is one small
great way to start. No cans, cows, etc. etc. Mary Coutts
