12 month olds who are drinking cow's milk and eating cheese are actually
eating a diet far inferior to the this child's diet. ( A diet without dairy
and eggs)

Virtually all nutritional authorities now acknowledge that a low fat diet
(nothing strange, just breast milk and fruits, vegies, grains, beans, tofu
and other "whole" foods) is healthy beginning in the first or second year of
life.

The standard American diet for children (best acronym: SAD) is far too high
in fat and protein and salt and too low in nutrients and fiber.
