Phyllis, I concur with your comments, and especially like the ending about
private LC's banding together and becoming more visible--I have been
thinking of that lately.  The risk of going it alone is financially very
high, but I do think a group could make a difference, helping themselves
while helping more moms.  If anyone is involved in this sort of association,
I would like to hear by private email.  I recall a post by Debbi Page
Ferrarrello (sp?) on starting a non-profit organization.  There could be
other kinds of organizations, too.  Let's put our thinking caps on.
