The UK Department of Health (DH) used the phrase - 'free fast food' for a
breastfeeding campaign several years ago. The IDEA seemed to be quite
popular although the actual photo used to go with the slogan was withdrawn
after a while - I have been told that this was due to complaints BY WOMEN
that the picture was pornographic. It was a very cute close-up photo of a
baby's mouth just gaping wide to take the breast.
One of the outcomes of this is that the DH posters etc to promote
breastfeeding do not actually show breastfeeding - ? as it may be offensive!
