Anne - do you see this as a problem indicating the mother is
producing less milk overall? Or just she is producing less milk with
the pump (for the speculative reasons I outlined)? If the baby isn't
complaining, and has ad lib breastfeeds when he is with the mother,
then I agree with your implication that it is not really an
issue....but your suggestions that the mother takes action to protect
her milk supply makes me think you *do* think it's an issue : )
