That would certainly be well worth looking into, esp if her weight loss is
associated with poor appetite, although zinc deficiency in adults is often
seen in correlation with weight gain, since it correlates to poor metabolism.
The good thing about zinc is that normal supplementation has no negative side
effects, even if it not the correct solution. So, well worth a try.
