Does anyone have a link to where I can read the Kaiser study??
Speaking of that study I'm probably going to write a letter to Kaiser about it because
of a few things that I saw while at Kaiser recently...
In ob/gyn there were many Mead Johnson advertisements, one in particular that
advertised something called the special beginnings club (I think?) where you can
get... drumroll...
A FREE CASE OF FORMULA!!!
In pediatrics there was a book on breastfeeding!  Wow, I thought! I looked at the date
of publication and it was *1985*.  Not only that but guess who the publisher was?
Mead Johnson!  Suprise!
It didn't suprise me but made me pretty sick.
Here they are doing this study which basically says that they advocate breastfeeding
yet the place is literally stinking of formula.
So I'd like to put something together to write to them about that.  Not that it would
do any good but I found it to be pretty stupid. What they should be advertising in
their waiting rooms is the study that they did for crying out loud!!
