Almost forgot one more comment about my unfortunate Reynaud's experiences --
the extremely strong internal pressure I felt at MER during the period I
struggled with oversupply as also a very reliable trigger of blanching and
pain. This makes some sense, just intuitively -- when the milk lets down
even now I can see the blood vessels in the nipple-areolar complex (hi,
Jean!) stand out through the skin, pressed outward by the pressure of milk
rushing downward through the ducts; so it's clear that there is an impact on
blood suppy to the nipple ordinarily, which might well be exaggerated or
troubled in some other way when the supply is even greater, especially
inappropriately great.

I have never read about any connection between these in any references; this
is coming purely from my own observations and what seems to me common sense.

Jeannette and Tracy, any chance this may be part of the issue with your
mothers?

Anyone else out there seem this association?
