Yes, Jean,
I have been filling in our NICU the past few days and it seems like every
other mom I talk to has had her milk volumes plummet, with no other
explanation that the stress brought on by the terrorist attacks.

Subject: Tragedy On Topic
Hi, friends,
As we are finding hourly, the events that have been experienced here in the
U.S. this week are on topic for this list in many ways. I live in Florida.
Yesterday a Mom who is pumping for her premature twins in NICU and has been
having supply issues from the beginning said to me, "I can get a total of 2
to 3 ounces per double pumping...........if I don't turn the TV on. If I
pump with the TV on, I can barely get an ounce. I didn't think I was that
upset, but I guess my body is telling me differently."
Don't we know it.
