< Has anyone had any
experience with the First Years double pump?>
If it is the same model they have been selling for several years, (a
somewhat "spindly" looking one, if I remember) I have heard several
clients complain that it was quite painful, and ineffective to boot.
Of course, I have heard that about a lot of types of pumps, in large part
because so many expect it to be like turning on a faucet or puncturing a
can of formula, and so few realize that the MER must be triggered first
before pumping, as it is the most powerful force in removing milk from
the breast.
$150 is a LOT to pay for a "generic" name. If that is truly the price, I
can't conceive that the one I have heard about is the same model you are
talking about. I am looking forward to hearing the experience of others.
