I was challenged this week on my assertion that a toddler with a cold should
nurse as much as possible, by someone who said that usually milk worsens
upper respiratory symptoms.

I said that yes, of course this is true of COWS milk, but that HUMAN milk is
just totally different!!

Then I realized I had no reference for my assertion.   It's true, right?

I mean, immune protection I can document, and fluids being generally good is
easy, but specifically on cow milk making more mucus but human milk not?  Can
anyone out there back me up on this?
